Argyle: A barn and equipment change brought out a different style this week as our girl broke her maiden, winning her 1st race in an impressive 1:53.4 at Harrah's Philadelphia. She came away from the gate abruptly and was put on the front end by driver Andy Miller. She held her stride through consistent fractions, and kicked home for a romping finish. Credit shared with Julie Miller Team for bringing out her speed and Annette Lorentzon for laying a solid foundation. We will look to see if she can do it again in the next leg of the PA Stallion Series and later this year in Kentucky.
Gulf Shores: 1st qualifier is this Tuesday, June 15th at Delaware County Fairgrounds.
Almanac: Had a week off per the plan and is likely to race again at Scioto this week.
Broadway: Traine in 2:15 at Winners Training Center in Chesterfield, NJ with Chris Ryder. She is a big filly, and a little immature, so plan is to bring her along slowly and start her in the Kentucky Sire Stakes at The Red Mile later. So far she is on plan, and we love what we see from her.
Barrier: Has been showing talent and plenty of speed while training at the Meadowlands. Still slightly immature, but on track for baby races in June or July.
Blend: Still on paddock rest in Kentucky. She will be rechecked in a few weeks to see where her status is, and wether she is cleared to go back into training.
